Excursions Overview
Adaaran Select Meedhupparu offers unrestricted access to the immaculate beaches encircling the island, several excursions are offered to the guest, Morning fishing is among the most preferred forms of unravelling the mysteries in the Maldives. Such excursions can be scheduled upon request.
Sunrise Fishing
Try trolling fishing under the guidance of our crew with hand lines while 'Dhoni' moves and enjoying the
beautiful sunrise. Trolling is a method of fishing th7at allows to use more than one line with a lure, often
behind the boat, to attract your catch while the captain keeps the craft in a steady motion. Trolling is the most
used method in which you have the best chance of catching a large fish.

Sunset fishing/Sunset Masbeynun
Sunset fishing is a true Maldivian leisure activity. Once the “Dhoni” (Maldivian traditional Boat) anchors, the
lines are baited and dropped overboard with sinkers. Reef bottom fishing is a traditional activity in the
Maldives, which guests can try for themselves while the sun sets over the islands. it is highly unlikely that you
will come back empty handed, even if you do it is still an enjoyable experience. Red snapper and grouper are
the firm favorites on a sunset fishing excursion.

Fishing with cooking/Fishing with Kakkaa

Sandbank Picnic Excursion
Sandbanks in Maldives are elusive and magical, a sandbank is a stretch of land that is partly submerged and
partly visible off the surface of the sea.
On our Sandbank picnic excursion, we will take you to a deserted sandbank, away from our island by “Dhoni”
(Maldivian traditional Boat), and lets you enjoy the tranquility of nature. While you enjoy the nature of the
sandbank you will be served packed picnic lunch to enhance the experience.

On our Lovers Paradise excursion, we will take you to an uninhabited island, away from our island by “Dhoni”
(Maldivian traditional Boat), and lets you enjoy the tranquility and the beautiful nature. While you enjoy the

Visit Meedhoo Island (Local Island Tour)
A local island tour in the Maldives offers a unique experience, providing insights into the daily life, culture,
and traditions of the Maldivian people.
Embark on our Visit Meedhoo Excursion, a short Dhoni boat ride lasting 10-15 minutes from the resort,
bringing you to Raa Meedhoo. This inhabited island in Raa Atoll features the presence of the Raa Atoll
Education Center, offering insights into the local community and culture.
Raa Meedhoo, settled 300 years ago from Bodufushi, has a rich history. The Old Friday Mosque, standing for
over 250 years, reflects the island's heritage. Located 154.56 km northwest of Malé, Meedhoo indicates with its
historical significance and cultural attraction.
