You’ll enjoy buffet-style meals at our main restaurant, along with a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages served at our bars. Light snacks are available daily, and for those staying three nights or more, we’ve included a special sunset photo cruise. To make your experience even more memorable, the package also covers complimentary water sports such as snorkeling, windsurfing, and paddleboarding. Tucked among the coral at Adaaran Club Rannalhi, the map pufferfish is impossible to overlook with its intricate maze-like markings and soft yellow underbelly. Native to these Indo-Pacific waters, it moves with an unhurried confidence, gliding just above the reef as it forages for algae, sponges and the occasional crustacean.
That calm exterior hides a clever defence. When threatened, it can draw in water to inflate itself into a spiky, oversized version of itself, a last-resort deterrent that few predators care to test. Its skin and organs also carry a natural toxin, another quiet reminder that beauty on the reef often comes with its own built-in protection.
Despite its unusual appearance, the map pufferfish is a steady presence here, going about its business as one more thread in the intricate web of life along the Rannalhi house reef.
